How To Wear Cuff Bracelets

Start With the Right Fit

  • The opening of the cuff should be just wide enough to slide over the side of your wrist, not the widest part.
  • It should hug your wrist—not squeeze it. If it’s too tight or loose, gently adjust it before putting it on (more on that below).

2. Find the Soft Spot on Your Wrist

  • Locate the inner side of your wrist, right below the wrist bone on the thumb side.
  • This spot is fleshier and will allow easier entry without too much pressure on your bones.

3. Slide the Cuff Sideways

  • Gently rotate the cuff sideways and slide the opening over the soft part of your wrist.
  • Avoid pulling or bending the bracelet open—especially since it's made of wire.

4. Twist, Don’t Stretch

  • Once it's slipped on sideways, gently rotate or roll it into position until it's sitting centered on your wrist.
  • Avoid stretching the opening. Repeated bending will weaken the metal over time and can cause breakage.

5. Adjusting the Fit (If Needed)

  • If absolutely necessary, you can slightly squeeze or widen the cuff using both hands and even pressure.
  • Do this off the wrist, and avoid frequent resizing—it stresses the material.
  • Use a soft cloth or jewelry tool to protect the surface if adjusting.

💡 Tips:

  • Store your cuff in a flat position or on a cuff stand to help it retain shape.
  • Avoid forcing it over the top of the wrist—it can warp or snap.
  • Take it off using the same sideways motion to preserve its integrity.
