How To Measure Your Ankle

Step 1: Prepare Your Measuring Tape
Use a soft, flexible measuring tape — the kind used for sewing or body measurements.

Step 2: Sit or Stand Comfortably
Sit in a chair or stand, depending on what's more comfortable. Make sure your foot is flat on the floor and your leg is relaxed.

Step 3: Locate the Measurement Point
Find the narrowest part of your ankle — usually just above the ankle bone (medial malleolus and lateral malleolus).

Step 4: Wrap the Measuring Tape Around
Wrap the tape around your ankle at the chosen spot. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight — it should lie flat against your skin without digging in.

Step 5: Check the Position
Ensure the tape is level all the way around — not twisted or angled. If possible, use a mirror or ask someone to help double-check.

Step 6: Read the Measurement
Look at where the end of the tape meets the numbered section and read the measurement in inches.

Step 7: Record Your Measurement
Write down your ankle circumference for your records or to use for sizing jewelry.

How To Measure Your Finger

1. Wrap the String Around Your Fingerbase of your finger, where the ring will sit. Make sure it’s snug but not tight.

2. Use a pen or marker to mark the point where the string overlaps itself completely—this is your finger’s circumference.

3. Lay the string flat on a ruler on the centimeter edge and measure from the starting end to the mark you made. Be as precise as possible. Provide me with the measurement in centimeters, making sure to include the milimeters. This number is your ring size in millimeters (mm).

4. Compare your measurement to a ring size chart, or use the exact mm measurement when ordering custom copper wire rings .

Tips:

- Measure your finger at the end of the day when it's largest.

- Don’t measure when your fingers are cold, as they shrink slightly.

- If you're in between sizes, size up for comfort—especially for thicker rings.
